Yesterday, I have found a fantastic baking recipe from one of my favorite cook books on baking bread and immediately went in to the kitchen and have have begun playing around with what I've just learnt. As I like practising with that baking recipes, I am just getting better at this, every day and don't ever never failed to create something that goes against the description of the book of the final result. And I worked hard at this one, as I always do, a couple of hours and I finally opened my oven to see what I've created only to see something I was not expecting. Man, was I pissed off. Not only I have found that this bread I baked does not look anything like I saw on the photograph, but it didn't taste anywhere as nice as the recipe says or as I have though I would get either. I think I'd go as far as saying that it was a disaster.
Although it's true that bread-baking is absolutely not an easy process and even sometimes can be tedious, although it is all part of having a good time! I love baking, but today I have failed. The funny thing is that I followed the instructions from cover to cover from that baking recipe I've read and sure did do everything right. A lot of dudes never succeed to cook the bread they would like because it's a delicate process and gals & guys often get discouraged after a few failed tries and that is one of the worst parts, because there are many of fantastic baking recipes to play the game from and hundreds of different techniques taught by many of different people and you will get good at it all arrives with experimenting.
So, what makes you a super baking specialist? I'd say knowledge, determination and a lot of effort and experience. Some basic knowledge can change the bakers experience a lot.
